Quick Summary:
Overall, I really don’t like Eveline Cosmetics Slim Extreme 3D Thermo Active Serum.
It’s pretty easy to use and apply but that’s about it.
It’s specially formulated for abdominals and buttocks and went on without much of a mess.
This serum leaves you with a tingly sensation for up to 40 minutes.
It’s pleasant the first few times, then it gets a little obnoxious when you have to use it 1-2 times per day over an extended period of time.
It took a long time to dry (close to 20 minutes) and leaves a sticky feeling behind.
The stickiness lasts 1- 2 hours and isn’t fun when you’re trying to go about your day and prevent clothes and various items from clinging to you.
The results (or lack thereof) were very disappointing.
In the short term, this serum barely even made my skin softer.
In the long term, I saw no improvement with the appearance of my skin.
I was hoping for at least a little hydration and suppleness but got nothing.
This product also doesn’t have any sort of guarantee, so you’re out any money you spent.
Luckily, it’s a super inexpensive product but you seem to get what you pay for.
Detailed Opinion:
Texture/Feel
Eveline Cosmetics Slim Extreme 3D Thermo Active Serum comes out of the tube as a red-colored gel.
It’s very slick and smooth to the touch.
Application
For the application, it should be applied one to two times daily, preferably after a shower.
This serum is specifically formulated for your abdomen and buttocks.
So apply it to your problem areas (belly and/or booty) and massage in with circular motions until it’s fully absorbed.
It’s easy to apply, doesn’t drip, and isn’t messy during application.
Make sure to wash your hands after you’re done applying.
The gel feels good on the skin.
Then after about 2-3 minutes there’s a warm, tingling sensation.
Mine lasted about 10-15 minutes total.
The product does say that there might be a “pleasant warming sensation and delicate redness may appear for 20–40 minutes”.
Drying Time
This product takes about 15-20 minutes to dry.
The gel is a bit thicker to absorb into the skin.
Once it’s done drying, it leaves an unpleasant sticky feeling.
I don’t like this stickiness, especially when you’re trying to put on clothes and go about your day or at night before jumping into bed.
Unfortunately, the stickiness lasts 1-2 hours after application.
Smell (in the bottle)
In the bottle, it smells like Aloe vera gel.
It’s a relatively strong smell.
Smell (a few hours after application)
After applying, it’s a mild aloe smell that fades after 1-2 hours.
On the skin, it’s pleasant and not overpowering.
Short Term Results
I didn’t see much short-term results.
After about a week of using, I noticed slightly softer skin, but nothing to write home about.
I’m disappointed that I didn’t even experience short-term effects.
Long Term Results
After a couple weeks, I failed to see any long-term results.
I didn’t see any improvement in the appearance of my cellulite.
My skin wasn’t smoother or more hydrated.
Results were definitely below average and overall non-existent.
Ingredients
Eveline Cosmetics Slim Extreme 3D Thermo Active Serum uses quite a few active ingredients.
One major ingredient is Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail) Leaf, which is a plant believed to have smoothing, anti-inflammatory properties that make the skin look younger.
Another major ingredient is Caffeine, which is widely used in cellulite creams.
It’s suggested to increase circulation and help breakdown fatty deposits.
Fatty deposits are what create the rippled, bumpy appearance of cellulite.
Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein is another main ingredient used. It’s included to help moisturize the skin and make it softer and suppler.
Centella Asiatica is an herb that may improve circulation, strengthen skin, and reduce swelling.
The last ingredient to note is Ivy (Hedera Helix) Extract, which has anti-inflammatory properties and is suggested to increase circulation and help release fatty deposits from the skin cells.
Price
One 8.8 oz bottle costs $12.99.
Once you break it down, it works out to about $1.47 per ounce.
That’s an extremely cheap and affordable price for a cellulite cream.
It’s probably one of the lowest prices I’ve seen.
Guarantee
Eveline Cosmetics doesn’t offer any type of guarantee.
To make matters worse, if you want to return a product, you have 30 days to do so but the product must be unused and sealed.
You also have to pay for shipping and handling.
I don’t like when you can’t even try the product first to see if you like it or not.
It’s definitely a disappointment.
