    Quick Summary:

First Botany Hot Shot Slimming Gel is an anti-cellulite product that also works as a natural muscle relaxer.

It’s a slick peachy gel that comes in jar. I don’t like that it comes out of a jar because it’s messy and unsanitary.

On the upside, the gel dries in about 5 minutes and feels amazing on the skin. (Beware; it does leave a cooling tingly sensation similar to Icy Hot.)

I love that it leaves the skin feeling incredibly moisturized and soft almost immediately after applying it.

Unfortunately, the gel has a super strong essential oil aroma that I don’t really like.

Luckily, the scent did fade relatively fast once it had been applied to the skin.

The gel didn’t diminish all of my cellulite, but it did make my skin appear soft, smooth, and less dimply. With that being said, it did make my cellulite appear SLIGHTLY less noticeable.

Overall, I enjoyed using this product because it provides slightly above average results, is affordable, and comes with a 100% satisfaction money back guarantee.

    Detailed Opinion:

    Texture/Feel

It’s a slick gel with a peachy color.

    Application

Apply the cream to your problem area twice daily.  I only applied the lotion once a day and still saw some improvement in the appearance of the cellulite on my thighs.

The cream comes out of a jar, which is one of my least favorite application methods because it‘s messy and unsanitary.

What I do like about this gel though is that it spreads incredibly easily on the skin.

The gel reminds me of Icy Hot. It gives the same cooling tingly sensation after it’s applied. I personally liked it, but I suggest you apply it conservatively so you aren’t overwhelmed with the tingly cooling sensation.

    Drying Time

It dries in about 5 minutes.

After about 5 minutes, the lotion leaves a cooling sensation that makes it seem like the gel is still wet, but its actually dry to the touch.

    Smell (in the bottle)

The smell in the bottle is strong. It’s difficult to describe, but has a strong smell of essential oils and menthol.

I personally don’t like the scent, but some people may enjoy the strong aroma.

Smell (a few hours after application)

After a few hours the gel scent fades a lot, but initially it has a super strong aroma. I always prefer products with very subtle scents.

Overtime, the scent gets much better making it not quite so overwhelming – thank goodness.

    Short Term Results

Directly after applying this product, my skin felt very soft, and smooth.

After the first few days of use, my thighs felt more hydrated, smooth and incredibly soft.

    Long Term Results

Longer term, I noticed my thighs appearing slightly less dimply and significantly more moisturized.

Obviously the cream did not diminish all of my cellulite, but it did make my cellulite appear SLIGHTLY less noticeable.

    Ingredients

What’s unique about Hot Shot is that it’s made with 87% organic ingredients.

One of the key ingredients is Chamomile. Chamomile is believed to increase microcirculation and fight swelling. It supposedly fights cellulite by causing thermogenesis.

Another key ingredient is Aloe Vera. It’s believed to reduce inflammation and improve hydration of cellulite affected skin cells.

    Price

One bottle of First Botany Hot Shot Slimming Gel costs $15.95.

At a bottle size of 4 oz, that works out to about $3.99 per ounce.

That’s a great deal for a cellulite cream!

    Guarantee

Luckily, there is a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

I love when products have such great guarantees!
