Quick Summary:
Jergens Skin Firming Moisturizer is a decent anti-cellulite product with a few minor downsides.
It’s an incredibly soft and moisturizing lotion that comes in a bottle. The bottle makes it pretty easy to apply, but I still prefer a pump.
On the upside, the lotion dries in about 3 minutes and feels amazing on the skin.
I also love that it leaves the skin feeling incredibly moisturized and soft almost immediately after applying it.
The lotion has a clean powder smell, but it kind of reminds me of “old lady smell.”
Luckily, the scent is very subtle and fades relatively fast once it had been applied to the skin.
The cream didn’t diminish all of my cellulite, but it did make my skin appear soft, smooth, and even. With that being said, it did make my cellulite appear SLIGHTLY less noticeable.
Overall, I enjoyed using this product because it’s affordable, dries quickly, and has slight results.
Detailed Opinion:
Texture/Feel
It’s a white lotion with a soft creamy texture.
Application
Apply the moisturizer to your problem area daily. I only applied the lotion once a day and still saw some improvement in the appearance of the cellulite on my thighs.
The lotion comes out of a bottle, which is easy to use, but I still prefer to use “pump” applicators.
What I do like about Jergens though is that it isn’t runny and it spreads incredibly easily on the skin.
My favorite part about the application process is how hydrating and refreshing the lotion makes my skin feel as I apply it.
Drying Time
It dries in about 2-3 minutes.
The lotion leaves the skin feeling moisturized, but nothing too extreme.
After a few minutes, my skin felt completely dry without any wet or stickiness.
Smell (in the bottle)
The smell in the bottle is a very subtle scent.
It’s difficult to describe, but it smells kind of like baby powder.
Smell (a few hours after application)
Although the smell is very subtle and somewhat “clean,” it reminded me of an “old lady smell.”
I am not exactly sure what it is about the smell that made me think of “old lady smell,” but luckily it’s extremely subtle and fades to practically no smell at all.
Short Term Results
Directly after applying this product, my skin felt very soft, and smooth.
After the first few days of use, my thighs felt more hydrated, smooth and soft.
Long Term Results
Longer term, I noticed my thighs appearing slightly more even and significantly more moisturized.
Obviously the lotion did not diminish all of my cellulite, but it did make my cellulite appear SLIGHTLY less noticeable.
Ingredients
There are many common ingredients in Jergens Skin Firming Moisturizer, but is composed of unique blends and complexes.
Jergens uses a unique blend of Collagen and Elastin to supposedly firm and tighten the skin.
It also has a special “Firm Perfecting Complex.” I am not sure which ingredients specifically create the Complex, but it supposedly improves skin elasticity, resiliency, and firmness.
Price
One bottle of Jergens Skin Firming Moisturizer costs $10.76.
At a bottle size of 8 oz, that works out to about $1.35 per ounce.
That’s a smoking deal for a cellulite cream!
Guarantee
Depending on where you buy Jergens, there is a 30-day money back guarantee.
I love when products have guarantees!
