Quick Summary:
Shiseido Replenishing Body Cream is a pretty good product that really moisturizes the skin while leaving you smelling great!
It’s easy to apply with its thick cream texture and extremely quick drying time.
Although it’s a bit expensive, it does smell phenomenal and leaves the skin feeling silky and smooth.
Although we noticed no major changes in the appearance of our cellulite, we did notice replenished and moisturized skin after just a few weeks.
Detailed Opinion:
Texture/Feel
Shiseido Replenishing Body Cream is very light pink in color and feels like a thick, creamy paste.
It feels thick and silky, but is not runny or goopy at all – which I love because it’s extremely easy to apply!
Application
This cream spreads easily on the skin and feels soft the entire time you have it on.
It’s a quick and clean application process because it’s more of a pasty substance (than creamy). That prevents it from being runny and messy.
One of the great thing about Shiseido Replenishing body cream is that it doesn’t leave a wet or sticky feeling.
It smells wonderful during the application process, which is nice because many cellulite creams have strong unpleasant smells directly after application.
Drying Time
Shiseido Replenishing Body Cream dries in just a few minutes, which I loved because it doesn’t slow down your morning routine.
As I said earlier, I really liked that it doesn’t leave a wet or sticky feeling; instead it leaves the skin feeling silky almost immediately!
Smell (in the bottle)
Luckily, this product has a very pleasant rose fragrance. It’s soft, clean, and refreshing.
I really enjoyed this beautiful scent that lasted all day, because unfortunately, many cellulite creams smell horrible.
Smell (a few hours after application)
After giving Shiseido Replenishing Body Cream some time to dry and be on my skin awhile, I noticed the smell remained soft and refreshing.
The flowery scent lasted for several hours, which was nice because I didn’t need to apply perfume or body spray to smell wonderful.
Short Term Results
As mentioned earlier, directly after applying Shiseido Replenishing Body Cream the skin felt silky and soft.
Once the cream was fully absorbed, my skin still felt moisturized, soft, and smooth.
Long Term Results
Longer term, we did notice how moisturized and healthy our skin felt after using Shiseido Replenishing Body Cream.
My skin felt ridiculously smooth and soft! I’m not sure I would say my skin felt tighter or firmer, but it definitely felt healthier.
Unfortunately, I did not notice much difference in the appearance of my cellulite. I would suggest this cream as a great skin moisturizer, but not necessarily the most effective cellulite cream in preventing or improving the appearance of cellulite.
Ingredients
Shiseido Replenishing Body Cream contains 37 ingredients- which seems like a pretty good number.
What I found unique about this product is that it contains Yuzu Seed Extract, which supposedly helps boost collagen and hyaluronic acid production and helps prevent the appearance of cellulite.
It also contains numerous nutrients that provide lasting moisture.
Price
One bottle of Shiseido Replenishing Body Cream costs $72.00
At a bottle size of 7.2 oz, that works out to $10 per ounce.
It’s rather pricey in my opinion but a little does seem to go a long way.
Guarantee
Shiseido offers a 30 day moneyback gaurantee.
We like to see guarantees like this when it comes to cellulite creams.
